Square Mah Jongg Game Table

Mahjong asks for a particular kind of table square, steady, quiet underhand, and just the right size for four walls and four players who came to stay a while. We built this one for exactly that.

The 33" x 33" padded speed cloth playing surface gives every wall its space and softens the wash to a hush — no clattering tiles, no shouting over the shuffle. The 41" x 41" hardwood frame leaves room around the cloth for tea, snacks, and the kind of lingering conversation mahjong is known for. At a standard 30" table height, it pulls right up to a regular set of dining chairs.

When the tiles go away, an optional 42" x 42" dining topper turns it into a beautiful square dining table perfect for small-space living, or any home where a dedicated game table needs to earn its keep at dinner too.

Like every table we make, this one is handmade in Utah from your choice of domestic hardwood (exotics available on request). Our hydrophobic finish won't cloud, chip, or separate from the wood, holds up to a lifetime of game nights, and is spot repairable when life happens.
